Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for operating rewinder and roller machines. This includes setting up the machines, changing out parts, and ensuring their efficient operation. Experience with troubleshooting is highly beneficial. The candidate will also be responsible for checking the machines and performing small repairs, changing out rolls, and diagnosing any mechanical issues that arise.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain rewinder and roller machines.
+ Set up machines and perform change outs.
+ Check and perform small repairs on machines.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
+ Change out rolls and machine parts as necessary.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in machine operation.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Experience with hand tools.
+ Familiarity with mechanical assembly and machine building.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with machine maintenance is a plus.
+ Experience with repairs and troubleshooting is a plus.
+ Electrical experience is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate controlled warehouse with three shifts: 1st shift from 5am to 1pm, 2nd shift from 1pm to 9pm, and 3rd shift from 9pm to 5am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.25/hr.
