Assembly Technician

Job Description

An assembler is needed for a day shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at a growing facility in Santa Ana, CA. The role involves providing innovative solutions for automation and control applications. As part of a distributor and manufacturer, you will determine the most cost-effective solutions based on design criteria, mechanical constraints, cycle life, environmental conditions, and media.

Responsibilities

+ Heat material with a heat gun.

+ Cut material using scissors and a razor knife.

+ Wrap material on tubing and perform heat shrinking using a heat gun.

+ Install foam using hand tools like Allen wrenches.

+ Perform repetitive and detailed tasks, requiring the ability to stand and sit for long periods.

+ Assist with other assembly projects as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in assembly and production.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools, scissors, razor knives, and heat guns.

+ Mechanically inclined.

+ Ability to speak and read English instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous assembly or production experience is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a small division with only five employees, including three assemblers. Collaborate with facilities in Newark and Texas, which have over 30 employees each. This position is based in a small satellite sales office that supports larger operations with fulfillment.

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Ana, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
