    Job Title: EM Assembler** **Job Description

     

    Assemble joysticks, perform point-to-point soldering and surface mount technology (SMT), install switches and receptors, and solder on small to medium-sized PCBs. Utilize small hand tools, drills, tweezers, and slicers. Harness and wire using strippers and pliers, with some soldering requiring the use of a magnifying glass. Work across 5-6 different stations and cross-train in other areas, using Netsuite Systems to pull up work instructions.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble joysticks and perform point-to-point soldering.

    + Install switches and receptors.

    + Conduct soldering on small to medium-sized PCBs.

    + Utilize small hand tools, drills, tweezers, and slicers.

    + Perform harnessing and wiring with strippers and pliers.

    + Use a magnifying glass for detailed soldering work.

    + Cross-train in various stations and use Netsuite Systems for instructions.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 1 year of EM Assembly experience.

    + Minimum 1 year of point-to-point soldering experience.

    + Ability to use a microscope.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Proficiency in English or Spanish.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with mechanical assembly and use of microscopes.

    + Ability to perform point-to-point soldering.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
