Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Pay: $24-$25 to start

Shift: Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm (50 plus hour per week)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, and diesel trucks. You will be responsible for performing DOT inspections, oil changes, and ensuring optimal operation of our machinery.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance and repair on heavy equipment including forklifts, excavators, and diesel trucks.

+ Conduct DOT inspections to ensure compliance and safety.

+ Carry out oil changes and other routine maintenance tasks.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.

+ Implement preventive maintenance measures to extend equipment lifespan.

Essential Skills

+ Troubleshooting

+ Maintenance technician expertise

+ Mechanical knowledge

+ Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics

+ Preventive maintenance skills

+ Experience with diesel equipment

+ 3+ years of heavy equipment experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Additional electrical experience is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
