Job Title: Assembly Technician

$18-$24 an hour

Job Description

Specializing in the production of industrial-sized ovens, this role involves labor work, primarily focusing on the assembly of oven parts and insulation. The assembly will mainly consist of metal products, mostly aluminum, utilized for custom oven orders. Candidates will begin on the assembly line and must be adept at using hand and power tools, as well as measuring accurately.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble oven parts and insulate ovens.

+ Work primarily with metal products, predominantly aluminum.

+ Use hand and power tools effectively.

+ Measure accurately for assembly purposes.

+ Read and interpret blueprints.

+ Navigate computer systems as necessary.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Ability to accurately measure using blueprints and tape measurers.

+ Basic computer navigation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in industrial and manufacturing environments is preferred.

+ Reading blueprints is a plus.

Work Environment

The manufacturing facility is high-volume and fast-paced, accommodating approximately 30 team members. First shift hours are from 7 am to 3 pm, with opportunities for overtime and weekend hours. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, and steel-toed boots, ensuring safety and comfort.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Williamsport, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $12.50 - $12.50/hr.
