What you will do

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks and carrying out rework and quality assurance procedures related to production or operations.

+ Conduct Incoming/ In-process Quality Control activities associated with components, assemblies, and/ or electro-mechanical products

+ Conduct Final Quality Control Release activities associated with completed customer orders/ products

+ Ensure acceptance activities, including documentation requirements (depending on the situation, this may include review of packaging, labeling, product literature, and/ or revision levels) are met for accepted products

+ Work from engineering schematics or blueprints to perform accurate checks and tests; with calibrated gauges, tools, and equipment

+ Comply with all quality, regulatory, and documentation procedures and policies

+ Follow Line Clearance Policy, maintaining inspection gear and overall workstation cleanliness and organization

+ Provide customer service support to internal customers (Quality, Operations, Materials, Engineering, or Divisional teams)

+ Interact with internal customers, suppliers, and other external customers to resolve quality control issues

+ Provide inspection technique, process, or procedure training to others

What you will need

Required

+ Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends

+ Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis and/or up to 75 pounds of force occasionally to move objects

Preferred

+ High school diploma or GED

+ One (1) Year manufacturing experience

+ Experience with final quality inspection of assembled products; repairs

$27.50 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits.

Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
