SUMMARY
As a Radiologic Tech I, you assist radiologists with imaging procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures.
STATUS: Full time
DEPARTMENT: Radiology
SCHEDULE: Day/Evening (7 am-3:30 pm, 8 am - 4:30 pm, 9 am - 5:30 pm) and Every 3rd weekend.
Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000

RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Patient Care. Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient service
+ General Maintenance. Clean, restock, and prepare rooms on a daily basis
+ Documentation. Ensure concise and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures, utilizing the RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 2 years college certificate or equivalent.
+ Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
+ NYS license in Radiologic Technology required, or must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.
+ If licensed after 2007, must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within 1 year of hire.

RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
