    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms for 5G transport network optimization.

    + Partner with business teams to deliver analytical insights and data solutions.

    + Leverage AWS services to design, build, and optimize data engineering pipelines and workflows.

    + Support day-to-day operations, including documentation, monitoring, and issue resolution.

    + Develop predictive models, AI chatbots, and other advanced analytics solutions for key business use cases.

    + Drive data and cloud transformation initiatives, contributing to overall cloud strategy through prior experience.

    + Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and optimize complex SQL queries for scalable data retrieval.

    + Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow and Databricks for transport network data.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to translate transport network needs into actionable data science tasks to deliver enhanced functionality and continuous improvement.

    + Mentor team members and present insights through reports and visualizations using tools like Tableau and Grafana.

    + Stay updated on industry trends and propose new methodologies for advancing data science in 5G transport technology.

     

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience

    + 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering impactful results

    Skills and Qualifications:

    + Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering data solutions on a variety of data warehousing platforms

    + Knowledge of building data ingestion pipelines both real time and batch using best practices

    + Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)

    + Experience with AWS data services including S3, Redshift, SageMaker, and Glue

    + Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical mindset

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a diverse audience

    + Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

    Salary Ranges

     

    Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
