As a **Security Officer - Logistics Access Specialist** in **Sparrows Point, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role includes routine patrols and delivering exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual findings.

+ Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.

+ Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by answering questions and offering assistance as needed.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or activities according to established protocols.

+ Support emergency response activities, including evacuation and access control during drills or real events, as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
