As a **Security Officer - Logistics Facility Patrols** in **Fontana, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, remain visible throughout your shift, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches of security-related protocols.

+ Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols and/or while on post.

+ Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property.

+ Remain alert and observant to changing conditions throughout the shift, adapting to unique requirements of the logistics and distribution setting.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.

+ Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
