As a **Security Officer - Armed Shelter Patrol Driver** in **San Antonio, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned shelter locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the shelter location in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the shelter and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a secure environment.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the shelter to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure setting for occupants and staff.

+ Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific guidelines.

+ Collaborate with shelter staff and/or local authorities during emergency or critical situations as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Must pass a Physical Fitness Exam (run 1 mile-12 minutes, 22 sit ups, 12 push ups)

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
