Manufacturing Associate - Otay Mesa - 2nd Shift - $18/hr-$21/hr

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by trimming excess rubber, checking parts for defects, and applying glue to grooves using small brushes. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

+ Trim off excess rubber from products.

+ Inspect parts for any defects to ensure quality.

+ Paint grooves in parts with glue using small brushes.

+ Engage in molding processes.

+ Utilize hand tools and operate machinery efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with small parts handling.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools.

+ General labor and production experience.

+ At least 6 months of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong attention to detail is essential.

+ Ability to stand or sit for long periods.

+ Comfortable operating machinery.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large open manufacturing setting, featuring a machine shop, molding, bonding with machine presses, and warehouse areas. It is a very safe and clean workspace. The facility operates across multiple shifts, with 67 people on the first shift, 40 on the second shift, and 5 on the third shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
