Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description
Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and boiler systems within a manufacturing environment. Execute capital projects such as installation and dismantling of equipment, along with various maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
+ Reassemble machines after completing repair or maintenance work.
+ Start machines and observe their mechanical operation to determine efficiency and detect problems.
+ Inspect or test damaged machine parts, marking defective areas or advising supervisors on repairs needed.
+ Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to specific procedures.
+ Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.
+ Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
+ Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
+ Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
+ Set up and operate machines, adjusting controls to regulate operations.
+ Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
+ Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse to maintain machinery and work areas.
+ Clean machines and machine parts using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with motors, pneumatics, and conveyors connected to PLCs.
+ Ability to troubleshoot PLCs (no programming required).
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
+ Skills in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance.
+ Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to use hand and portable tools, gas and arc welders, forklifts, pickup trucks, testing equipment, tape measures, and computers (shop floor and ERP).
+ Knowledge of measuring gauges such as tape measures.
+ Experience operating a forklift.
+ Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information.
+ Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure to complete assigned tasks in stressful situations.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing facility filled with various types of machinery. The role involves working Wednesday through Saturday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with one of those days being a 4-hour shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tooele, UT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $69430.00 - $69430.00/yr.
