    What You’ll Do

    As a key member of our mechanical design team, you will:

    + Design HVAC and plumbing systems across a diverse range of building types.

    + Produce high‑quality plans, schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.

    + Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing, and system layout.

    + Collaborate with associates, clients, and project managers from kickoff through closeout.

    + Attend client and project meetings as a representative of the mechanical team.

    + Travel to sites nationwide for surveys, field verification, and documentation.

    + Ensure deliverables are accurate, coordinated, and completed on schedule.

    What You Bring

    + 2–5 years of experience in mechanical (HVAC/plumbing) design or drafting.

    + Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

    + Understanding of NEC basics, circuiting, panel schedules, and lighting layouts.

    + Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

    Bonus Points / Nice-to-Haves

    + EIT certification or actively pursuing it.

    + Willingness to travel for project surveys.

    + Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

    + Confident verbal communication and client-facing ability.

    + Proven analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

    + Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.

    This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
