Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of our organization based in Irvine, California. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and implementing effective internal controls. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial insights and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and team leadership to support the company's long-term objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to both internal management and external stakeholders.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for strategic decision-making.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate periodic forecasts to align with organizational goals.

• Develop financial models to evaluate business performance and inform planning efforts.

• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Manage cash flow and oversee liquidity requirements to optimize working capital.

• Establish and nurture relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

• Mentor and guide finance team members to foster growth and promote a culture of accountability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial understanding and drive performance improvements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Accounting certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

• Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, along with advanced Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering actionable insights.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate across departments.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
