Job Description

The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company standards. This role involves managing staff, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

+ Manage daily operations and ensure compliance with company standards.

+ Optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives for organizational growth.

+ Lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively.

+ Oversee supply chain and inventory control processes.

+ Manage KPIs and operational metrics to achieve targets.

+ Control budget and cost management processes.

+ Interact directly with warehouse and logistics teams.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

+ 5+ years in operations or supply chain leadership.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Experience managing KPIs and operational metrics.

+ Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ ERP systems proficiency (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

+ Strong leadership presence and ability to influence.

+ Track record of reducing operational costs and improving productivity.

+ Leadership and team management.

+ Process optimization and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

The position is based on-site in Tolland, CT, with some travel to Rhode Island to work with a major client. The work environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, providing direct interaction with warehouse and logistics teams. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tolland, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $62.50/hr.
