Pharmacy Technician – Compounding Pharmacy (Non-Retail) Location: Scottsdale, AZ (East Bell Rd & Loop 101)

Compensation:  $19.00 – $24.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:  Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM  No nights! No weekends!  No major holidays!

Overview Vertisis Custom Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Front-End Team in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a non-retail, patient-focused compounding pharmacy role offering steady weekday hours, a collaborative team environment, and meaningful work supporting physicians and patients.

Responsibilities

+ Answer phones and provide professional customer service to physicians

+ Receive prescriptions and accurately enter data into pharmacy software

+ Fill prescriptions and prepare medications for shipment

+ Complete labels, logs, and required documentation

+ Assist couriers and physicians with medication pickups

+ Process transactions through Point of Sale (POS) system

+ Stock shipping supplies and maintain inventory

+ Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant

+ Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

+ Pharmacy Technician Trainee License Required (PTCB certification preferred)

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Proficient with computers and pharmacy software systems (We use PK Software)

+ Prior experience in customer service, data entry, or call center environments

+ Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience

Compensation & Benefits
