Overview
Job Purpose
The primary role of the Fixed Income Analyst is to oversee the evaluation process for corporate credit instruments as part of ICE Data Service’s Corporate Evaluations Group. Strong knowledge of fixed income markets, particularly Investment Grade Corporate debt, is a must.
Responsibilities
+ Daily evaluation of fixed income securities focusing on investment grade debt using proprietary pricing models
+ Interpretation of market data and applying to the evaluation process
+ Monitoring and analyzing news and market volatility to ensure timely responsiveness to changing market conditions
+ Full understanding of pricing model and the variables that affect evaluations
+ Frequent collaboration with development and product management teams on model and workflow enhancements
+ Responding to critical daily client inquiries and challenges
+ Providing detailed pricing analysis on due diligence calls with clients and account managers
+ Researching and furthering specialist knowledge of assigned markets
+ Undertaking of ad-hoc projects as directed by management
Knowledge and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) a must
+ Strong comprehension of global financial markets, particularly an understanding of market forces that impact fixed income pricing
+ Knowledge of the UAT product lifecycle is preferred
+ Knowledge of practical applications of statistical analysis
+ Ability to collaborate with business analyst and product development teams
+ Capacity to work under stringent time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workload
+ Capability to digest market information and articulate in a structured and concise manner
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SQL and Python skills a plus but not required
+ Team player with the willingness to take direction from senior management
+ Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
+ Independent self-starter, able to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environment
+ Willingness to work the hours necessary to achieve daily objectives
New York Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $82,000 - $112,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
