    This role will be part of a team of information technology professionals responsible for monitoring a global network infrastructure including offices and internet data centers. This position requires technical proficiency as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Build, maintain, and support a global log management and monitoring infrastructure

    + Investigate network and application anomalies using logs, alarms, APM solutions, TCP/IP traces, and captures

    + Document changes and author documentation on monitoring standards and practices

    + Design monitoring requirements in coordination with development and operations

    + Implement and support monitoring solutions across multiple datacenters

    + Serve as a point of contact for monitoring across the enterprise

    Knowledge and Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree, preferably in CIS, engineering, or a related discipline

    + Knowledge of Linux, Python, Perl, Java scripting languages

    + Administration experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or another APM solution

    + Certification in Splunk, ELK, or another logs tool

    + Strong data analysis skills and competence in MS Word and Excel

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects

    Desirable Skills and Experience

    + Experience with Performance tuning

    + Financial industry expertise

    + Change auditing and configuration management
