    $45,000-$49,000 annuallySchedule: Monday-Friday 10-6pm (Friday is flexible)

     

    Position Summary: The Therapeutic After School Program (TASP) Case Worker provides daily program structure and routine for at-risk youth through scheduling, supervising, and monitoring. The case worker provides clear expectations and fosters an environment of strength-based, family-centered practice while working with at-risk youth. They will work as a team leader and model exceptional childcare skills to provide a sound and safe environment for children, family, and staff.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with the children and their families that are responsive to their needs and are in accordance with the established treatment plan/comprehensive assessment. Promote the growth of the parent-child relationship as indicated by that plan, as well as the agency's philosophy of family-centered practice.

    + Provide appropriate comprehensive case work interventions including case planning. Establish and maintain regular contact with children and families. Provide individual, family, group counseling, and crisis intervention. Ensure that agency standards of practice as well as State, Federal, and Accreditation standards are fully met. Exceed those standards whenever possible.

    + Continually evaluate the strengths and needs of children and families to provide appropriate intervention planning. Promote and guide the development of increased adaptive coping skills, socialization skills, parenting skills, independent living skills etc. through active involvement in the treatment planning process and ongoing review.

    + Use family-centered practice approaches in service delivery and case planning in treatment, permanency planning and discharge. Initiate, develop and implement valid, innovative best practices consistent with progressive trends, directions and research. Continuously monitor, evaluate and enhance all clinical programming.

    + Complete required reports and documentation on time meeting all standards of content and professional presentation. Ensure timely, accurate recording of all components of clients' records, including; progress notes, treatment planning, conferences, case specific materials, and Case Records.

    + Ensure the standards of a high performing team member are role modeled on a daily basis. Maintain good relationships through collaboration and advocacy on client's behalf with DSS, community agencies, schools, program staff and other service providers. Participate consistently in teamwork inter and intra departmentally. Involvement in cross program projects as appropriate.

    Requirements

    Education

    + Bachelors Degree required

    Experience

    + 3 - 5 years of related experience preferred

    + Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment preferred
