    Forte, an ATS company, is engaged by the real estate and/or property and casualty insurance industry to provide technical experts to assist with resolving insurance claims. From the time we receive assignments until the final invoice, Forte’s operations department manages all projects, including those of the appointed expert, using people skills and customized job-management software. We deliver our product promptly and accurately to grow market share and maintain customer loyalty. This role requires a client-centric approach, attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and a positive, growth-minded attitude.

     

    An Insurance Property Appraiser Project Manager will work as a liaison between our appraisal team and our clients. A Project Manager will dispatch new assignments, manage cycle times, communicate file status to the customer, manage and monitor the appraisers in the field, and update file status. They are responsible for meeting our Service Level Agreements with our clients, which build trust in our brand and our product. Project Managers need to be highly organized to manage all the client requirements and the volume of appraisal claims we receive daily.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Project Management: Enter and verify new assignments, proactively manage projects including cycle times, document the file, communicate status with the customer, assign, manage/monitor field appraisal team, work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure a high caliber end product, and update file status

    + Customer Service: General customer service, phone/email, determining clients’ needs, providing a proper solution, providing proactive status updates to the client, communicating with the field

    + Office Duties: General CSR, including answering incoming phone calls, responding to emails

    + Appraisal Review: Apply appraisal technical expertise during the initial appraisal review process of technical reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance within industry standards and regulations.

    + Invoicing: Process invoices according to contractual obligations and document files accordingly

    + Policy and Procedure Development: Provide input on operational issues and inefficiencies.

    + Other: Assist in other duties as needed

    Qualifications

    The following skills are integral to success in this role:

    + Insurance Industry Property or Appraisal License/Certifications preferred

    + Insurance claims experience preferred

    + Familiar with Xactimate and Xactanalysis

    + Exceptional at organization, documentation, and communication

    + Remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment

    + Document files fastidiously to ensure transparency and to foster teamwork, sharing job management responsibilities with the operations team in a CSR capacity

    + Growth-minded – sharing ideas with operations to improve process efficiencies, and foster open communication, etc.

    + Computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office, various browsers, and PDF programs. Ability to learn our Job Management Systems.
