    Bell is seeking a **Program Lead – V\-22 Nacelle Improvement** located at Bell’s Fort Worth, TX \(Hurst\) headquarters facility\. This role reports to the Manager, V\-22 Operations\.

     

    As the Program Lead – V\-22 Nacelle Improvement, you will provide day\-to\-day oversight and support of Nacelle Improvement \(NI\) program activities that align with quality on\-time/cost deliveries\. In this role you will interface with all levels of V\-22 management to ensure execution of our NI customer commitments and Bell’s financial plan\.

    What you'll be doing as a Program Lead \- V\-22 Nacelle Improvement:

    Lead directives of all non\-recurring and sustaining engineering, integrated operations, logistics and fleet support, EVMS, and business operations required to successfully capture and execute Nacelle Improvement modification effort in Amarillo, TX\.Oversee the day\-to\-day work in Amarillo and Ft Worth, fostering strong internal and external relationships, improving cost and schedule performance metrics, and facilitating manpower planning\.Implement strong program processes and controls to ensure continued efficient and smooth execution throughout all phases of the program lifecycle\.Secure and capture United States Marine Corps \(USMC\) and United States Navy \(USN\) program of record by informing implications on future funding availability, develop alternative courses of action as required, and build opportunities for Government of Japan \(GoJ\) NI incorporation through collaboration with Bell Military Business, Strategic Pursuits, and Textron DC OfficePartner with Bell finance and program management to ensure innovative ideas are explored for capturing modification of the fleet in AMA\.Serve as the key interface to our government customers for NI and to our Amarillo facility\.Provide direction to all components of the integrated product team \(IPT\) and other company organizations as it relates to NI\.Ensure delivery of specification compliant aircraft that meet program safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements\.Lead periodic customer program reviews\.Exercise technical and business aptitude for both internal and external coordination\.Meet all program contractual deliverables while maintaining compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures\.Interface with production Integrated Operations and planning for requisite rotable pool support\.Foster strong relationships with USG personnel to include DCMA on effective operations support\.Understand Statement of Work \(SOW\) development, implementation, estimating and pricing coordination, and sub\-vendor engagement processes\.Be able to travel to support operations 25% of the time\.Provide consistent communication on progress, identify program roadblocks, provide recommendations for solutions, and maintain a positive and influential relationship with all concerned stakeholders\.Successfully lead the transition from Targeted Nacelle Improvement to full Nacelle Improvement for the MV platform\.Live the Bell Values of – Lift each other up, Find a better way, Act swiftly and decisively, and Thrill our customers\.

    Qualifications

    Skills you bring to this role:

    Bachelor's Degree is required in a related field such as business, management, finance, supply chain, or engineering\. Master's degree preferred\.10 years of related industry or military experience is required\.V\-22 Experience is preferred\.5 years of experience in Program Management, sustaining Engineering, Sales and Strategy, Manufacturing Operations, Acquisition/Supply Chain, Military or Commercial Operations or a related field is required\.Experience with Earned Value Management methodology is preferred\.The ability to develop strong working relationships with US Government Customer is required\.Prior US Government customer relationships preferred\.Must have strong written and verbal communication skills\. Must have strong leadership and communication skills\. This role will require frequent customer, supplier, and internal engagements with senior leadership on programmatic topics\. Frequent engagement with upper management and uniformed officers is required\.Leadership experience with complex teams\.Knowledge and understanding of EVMS and how to manage and execute a program using EVMS tools\. Project management skills\. This includes manpower forecasting and managing resources within a constrained environment and facilitating resource on\-boarding from internal and external sources\.Knowledge of aircraft qualification, to include flight clearance processes as well as hardware and software\.Ability to manage Government proposal and to support the capture and negotiation of a contract\. Knowledge of Government contracts and requirements flow\-down\.
