We’re seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative AI Specialist I to support and maintain the quality and reliability of these solutions.

The AI Specialist I will play a critical role in the ongoing engineering and quality assurance of VIZIO’s AI-powered customer service agents and workflows. This individual will be responsible for daily review and analysis of customer feedback, quality audits, and field reports, translating findings into actionable bug reports and collaborating closely with engineering to ensure timely resolution and deployment. The role also involves proactive testing, analytics review, and security validation to continuously improve the performance and safety of our AI systems.

Job Description

**Sustaining Engineering:** Review daily feedback from customer surveys, quality audits, and VIZIO Tech Support representatives regarding AI agent performance and behavior. **Bug Reporting:** Analyze feedback to identify issues, write clear and detailed bug reports, and submit to CSAI engineering for resolution. **Testing & Validation:** Conduct comprehensive tests on new AI builds to verify bug fixes, ensuring readiness for production deployment using TestRails. **Security Assessment:** Perform simulated jailbreak attacks and vulnerability testing on AI agents to ensure robustness and safety. **Analytics Review:** Analyze the impact of changes to AI agents on containment rates, CSAT (Customer Satisfaction), and other key performance metrics. **Troubleshooting:** Apply VIZIO troubleshooting standards to diagnose and validate issues, leveraging your expertise with VIZIO TVs and sound bars. **Cross-functional Communication:** Collaborate with engineering, quality, and tech support teams; communicate findings and recommendations clearly and professionally. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of feedback, bug reports, and test results using Salesforce and TestRails. **Qualifications:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to quickly identify, investigate, and document issues. Familiarity with VIZIO troubleshooting standards and hands-on experience with VIZIO TVs and sound bars. Experience with bug reporting and tracking tools (Salesforce, TestRails, or similar platforms). Demonstrated ability to translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into actionable reports. Basic understanding of AI-powered customer service workflows and virtual agents. Knowledge of QA testing processes and methodologies. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team. Adaptable and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
