Based in our Sherman, TX, plant, you will work in a dynamic, high-tech production facility. This hands-on leadership role ensures compliance with customer requirements while leading, coaching, and coordinating staff and inspection activities. This role is for 2nd Shift, which works a schedule of Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

+ Maintaining a safe, quality conscious and cost-effective operation.

+ Leading, training, evaluating, and scheduling work for teammates throughout the department holding regular toolbox meetings to discuss performance against targets, problems, and the day's work schedule.

+ Planning and driving the completion of training and development of assigned personnel in support of achieving objectives, including attaining the necessary degree of cross-training.

+ Driving Quality Improvements Initiatives including the promotion and achievement of continuous improvement of cost and lead-time reduction.

+ Ensuring effective team communication to maintain dedication to objectives and hold meetings.

+ Implementing lean manufacturing strategies into assigned area(s) through kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 6 S.

For This Role, You Will Need:

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ 3 years of demonstrated quality assurance experience with understanding of quality assurance standards and processes.

+ Understanding of Lean manufacturing.

+ Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, team building, and problem-solving skills.

+ Communicate effectively to provide information to all levels of employees in a global organization.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

+ Bachelor’s degree in related field.

+ 3 years of demonstrated supervisory experience in quality or manufacturing.

+ ASQ certification as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

+ Experience in process improvement and documentation in an ISO9001 environment.

+ Supplier Quality Management experience.
