    **St. Joseph’s Hospital** is seeking a skilled and compassionate **Occupational Therapist** to join our acute care team. In this role, you will provide patient-centered therapy services to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery in an inpatient setting. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities.

    Acute Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

    + Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

    + Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance mobility, self-care, and overall quality of life.

    + Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and home safety strategies.

    + Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

    + Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

    Requirements:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + OT (Occupational Therapy)

    + Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain

    + Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy

    + Preferred 1-year Occupational Therapy
