    Business Execution Consultant – (QA / Testing)

    **Location:** St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

    **Duration:** 6 months (extension likely)

    **Type:** Contract (W2 only)

    About the Role

    We are seeking **5 contract resources** to support **application testing** for a large-scale financial services platform. This role is embedded in **agile development teams** and focuses on ensuring high-quality software releases by performing manual testing and collaborating closely with engineers and product owners.

     

    This is a **hands-on testing role** in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have both **strong testing skills** and **financial services experience** , particularly in advisory, wealth management, or brokerage systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and execute **manual test scripts** and end-to-end test scenarios

    + Document and track test results, defects, and retesting outcomes

    + Collaborate with agile teams, including product owners and engineers, to define testing requirements

    + Support the validation of new application features, enhancements, and workflows

    + Participate in **quality assurance activities** throughout the development lifecycle

    + Ensure attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness in all testing activities

    Required Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in **business execution, implementation, or QA/testing**

    + Hands-on experience with **manual testing in agile environments**

    + Familiarity with **Jira** or similar issue tracking and project management tools

    + Strong **collaboration and communication skills**

    + Proficiency in **MS Excel** for test documentation and reporting

    + Ability to work effectively as part of a **cross-functional team**

    Preferred Skills

    + Experience in **financial services, investment management, or brokerage systems**

    + Knowledge of **advisory platforms, managed accounts, or trading workflows**

    + Exposure to **automated testing tools** such as Selenium or Playwright

    + Familiarity with **Octane** or other test management platforms

    Additional Information

    + **Work schedule:** Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

    + **Start target:** Immediate / within the next month

    + **Interview process:** One-round interview

    + This is a **contract project role** , with potential extensions based on business needs
