Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a Pharmacy Floor Technician for their client in Vestal ,NY location
**Location:** 441 Commerce Rd, Vestal, NY 13850
Schedule:
+ **Day Shift:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
+ **Every Other Weekend:** 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
+ Overtime, holidays, and extended hours may be required. **Pay - 25. 65/HR**
Position Summary
We are looking a reliable and detail-oriented **Pharmacy Floor Technician** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, labeling, scanning, and preparing prescription medications for pharmacist verification. This position supports pharmacy operations by assisting with medication preparation, stock organization, and workstation maintenance while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
+ Accurately fill daily drug orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.
+ Pick medications from shelving and storage areas and prepare them for packing.
+ Apply labels to blister cards and scan items for accuracy verification.
+ Alert the on-duty pharmacist if a medication or product does not scan properly.
+ Assist in prepacking frequently ordered medications, labeling and storing as needed during low-volume periods.
+ Process returned medications following proper recycling and disposal procedures.
+ Package materials and products manually.
+ Maintain and organize designated workstation areas; replenish stock as needed.
+ Follow all government regulations and departmental policies, including HIPAA compliance.
+ Adhere to safety, attendance, and dress code guidelines.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
+ Ability to work at a moderate, consistent speed.
+ Possess and Maintain a Clear and Active Pharmacy Technician License
Preferred Qualifications
+ Previous pharmacy technician experience
Physical Demands
+ Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and walk intermittently throughout the day.
+ May sit or stand for **7–10 hours** per shift.
+ Finger dexterity required to operate office and pharmacy equipment.
+ Ability to lift up to **25 lbs** occasionally.
+ Must have visual acuity to read fine print, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
+ Must be able to hear normal voice levels in a typical work environment.
+ Work environment involves typical pharmacy and warehouse conditions.
**Pay Details:** $25.65 per hour
