Job Title: Test Operators (5th Shift Friday-Monday)
Job Description
This role involves supporting units through in-process and final testing. The position includes assisting with testing, training, and documentation, primarily focusing on electrical components of control panels.
Responsibilities
+ Perform testing on electrical components of control panels using voltmeters and ohmmeters.
+ Conduct tests on heat exchange units within the mostly automated In Row Heat Exchange department.
+ Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose faults based on established metrics.
+ Complete compliance reporting using Excel and collaborate with electrical assembly technicians to resolve issues and suggest possible repairs.
+ Assist in building and manufacturing fixtures and tooling to meet customer expectations.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient knowledge of schematics and current flow.
+ Experience with pressurized systems.
+ Ability to operate a personal computer using a Windows-based operating system and related software.
+ 2+ years of experience in electronics, electromechanical, or electrical testing in manufacturing.
+ Capable of reading and interpreting schematics or prints.
+ Knowledge of AC/DC and switch gears.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Consideration for technical, vocational, or associate's education in lieu of hands-on experience, provided the candidate understands utilizing required tools.
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
+ Mathematical proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Work Environment
The work environment is extremely clean and temperature-controlled, consisting of 11 cell stations in an electrical assembly area with large working spaces. The area is quiet, promoting a team-oriented culture. The current department size is 275 employees, with expected growth to 800 by the end of the year. The dress code requires composite toe or steel toe shoes with rubber soles, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt or polo. Large dangling jewelry, spandex, and midriff tops are not permitted.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.20 - $24.20/hr.
