Job Title: Warehouse Specialist

Job Description

As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our distribution operations, providing support in order picking, stocking, and packaging based on daily needs. Your journey begins in the inbound area, where you will perform the labor-intensive task of unloading products by hand. Packages will arrive via a conveyor belt, and your responsibility will be to unload and move them to designated locations. Once fully trained, you will assist with material handling and inventory control tasks to ensure accurate and timely shipments to our customers. You will be cross-trained in inbound, outbound, and stocking areas as required, and will operate manual pallet jacks and hand carts for product movements.

Responsibilities

+ Package and palletize orders.

+ Load and unload trucks.

+ Process stock transfers and material requests.

+ Replenish production and warehouse as directed.

+ Timely process physical and ERP goods movements and receipts, including documentation and physical condition verification.

+ Assist in timely returns processing.

+ Support cycle counting activities.

+ Complete confirmations, backflushing, and work order goods receipts.

+ Label orders for shipment including dangerous goods, international, and carrier paperwork and/or labels, with certifications provided when needed.

+ Complete verifications of items picked for accuracy and condition.

+ Generate work orders and sales orders from ERP.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year of experience with RF Scanner required.

+ Experience in picking, order picking, and unloading.

+ 1+ year of packaging, order picking, palletizing boxes, kitting, and pallet jack experience preferred.

+ Experience in loading/unloading packages preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ year of warehouse experience of any kind required.

+ Material handling, stocking, shipping and receiving, and general labor skills.

+ Interest in building a career in the warehouse industry.

Work Environment

This position operates in a large warehouse and manufacturing environment with three sections to navigate. The standard shift is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime until 4:30 pm and on one to two Saturdays a month. Safety awareness is crucial due to the presence of equipment operators in the facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
