    Job Title: Asbestos Abatement Worker

    Job Description

    As an Asbestos Abatement Worker, you will be responsible for removing hazardous building materials from both residential and commercial structures. This includes tasks related to demolition, asbestos abatement, lead paint removal, and mold remediation.

    Responsibilities

    + Remove hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead paint, and mold from structures.

    + Wear personal protective gear, including a protective suit and respirator, while working in contained environments.

    + Work in confined areas with high temperatures.

    + Perform heavy physical labor over extended periods.

    + Travel locally within an assigned region to various job sites.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in abatement fields, particularly asbestos or insulation.

    + Ability to carry out physical tasks such as lifting up to 60lbs and maximum standing and crawling.

    + Capability to use a respirator without obstruction.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Asbestos Worker Certification (32-hour Asbestos Worker Initial course) is a plus.

    + OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and HAZWOPER certifications are desirable.

    + Experience in building trades, demolition, HVAC, water mitigation, construction, asbestos, lead, or mold remediation is preferred.
