Job Title: Sanitation Lead

Job Description

We are a global leader in the manufacturing of bakery fillings & mixes, shelf-stable dairy sauces, beverage syrups & toppings, and specialty ingredients. We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Lead to join our team of sanitation workers, ensuring our equipment and facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

+ Perform equipment sanitation, including adjusting and removing conveyor belts, guards, and covers during maintenance and sanitation operations.

+ Conduct specialized sanitation interventions on critical equipment.

+ Oversee and support production or sanitation activities as needed.

+ Assemble and disengage equipment requiring cleaning and sanitizing.

+ Clean mixers, proofers, elevators, ovens, conveyors, scales, dividers, and other equipment according to job assignments.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in cleaning, production, and janitorial duties.

+ Experience in sanitizing and food safety practices.

+ Knowledge of HACCP standards.

+ Strong supervisory skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experiences in an industrial or food manufacturing setting is ideal.

Work Environment

The position is for an overnight shift from 9pm to 5am, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of Saturday work if additional sanitation is required. You will work under a manager transitioning to the first shift, taking over as the lead during the night shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poughkeepsie, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
