**Job Title:** CNC Machinist – 1st & 2nd Shift
**Location:** Skokie, Illinois
**Job Type:** Full-Time
Overview:
Join a safety-focused, quality-driven manufacturing team operating multi-axis CNC lathes. You'll be responsible for machining precision parts, ensuring conformance to specifications, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
+ Load parts, perform machining operations, and monitor runs.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions.
+ Verify part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
+ Adjust offsets and tooling to maintain quality and tolerances.
+ Maintain work area cleanliness and follow 5S and TPM practices.
+ Rotate across roles to meet production needs.
+ Participate in team meetings and problem-solving activities.
+ Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003 standards.
+ Overtime may be required.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ CNC training or hands-on experience.
+ Ability to read blueprints and operate CNC equipment.
+ Skilled in using hand tools and inspection instruments.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing setting with continuous standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs). Exposure to loud machinery, temperature changes, and industrial materials. Use of drill presses, grinders, CNC mills/lathes, and other equipment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Skokie, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $33.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
