Job Title: Senior Mechanical Project ManagerJob Description
The Senior Mechanical Project Manager will serve as a key leader responsible for driving the success of mechanical projects from early pursuit through final delivery. This role combines strategic business development, preconstruction leadership, and comprehensive project management to ensure exceptional outcomes for clients and the organization.
Responsibilities
+ Lead mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery.
+ Develop and implement strategic plans for business development and client engagement.
+ Oversee preconstruction activities and provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Manage project estimation, budgeting, and resource allocation effectively.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
+ Handle project coordination, including managing change orders and requests for information (RFIs).
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in mechanical project management, estimating, and client development.
+ Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems.
+ Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Work Environment
The work environment includes both office settings and on job sites.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $180000.00/hr.
