Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing individual tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual tax returns with precision and attention to detail.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and apply them effectively to client cases.

• Resolve tax-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.

• Provide expert advice and guidance on tax planning strategies.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.

• Assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Work closely with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing individual tax returns.

• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in analyzing financial data and identifying tax implications.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

• Up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and policies.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
