    A day in the life…

     

    Wondering what a day in the life of a Clinic Care Tech at The Iowa Clinic might look like?

     

    + Arrive at work in the morning – no night shifts here!

    + Work directly under the guidance of a seasoned Registered Nurse

    + Assist with patient intake/discharge including room turnover in a timely manner

    + Measures and documents height, weight, and vital sign readings as directed

    + Assists with supply stocking and monitoring of the clinic.

    + Maintains awareness of workload of co-workers and helps as appropriate

    + Return patient calls as needed and ensure all patients feel valued and cared for

    + Leave in the evening – hooray for working standard clinic hours!

    Certifications

     

    High School Diploma or equivalent required.

     

    CNA or EMT certifications preferred.
