This role is responsible for defining solution intent, prioritizing features, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementation. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Architecture, Development Scrum, Data Hydration, and Compliance—to deliver scalable, compliant, and Veteran-focused solutions.

+ Cross-Team Coordination: Orchestrate cross-ART collaboration to ensure synchronized execution of MDM strategy, fostering integration, reuse, and consistency across product lines/programs.

+ Performance Metrics: Define and track KPIs to measure the MDM product’s success and business impact.

+ Epic Elaboration & Solution Design: Decompose large, complex MDM epics into actionable solutions. Collaborate with Architecture and Product SMEs to ensure designs meet scalability, performance, and compliance requirements.

+ Strategic Decision-Making: Drive build vs. buy evaluations for MDM features, balancing cost, compliance (e. . , HIPAA), and integration with VA systems.

+ Solution Intent & Requirements Capture: Define and document solution intent, capturing detailed business and technical requirements. Incorporate feedback from Customer Success and Strategy teams to ensure Veteran-centric outcomes.

+ Prototyping & Modeling: Oversee creation of prototypes, business process models, and experience models to validate solution feasibility.

+ Feature & Story Elaboration: Break down epics into prioritized features and user stories for Development Scrum Teams. Maintain a clear, actionable backlog aligned with roadmap objectives.

+ Risk & Dependency Management: Identify and mitigate cross-team risks and dependencies, coordinating with the Release Train Engineer (RTE).

+ Agile Program Management: Manage large-scale initiatives within Agile Release Trains (ARTs), ensuring delivery aligns with roadmap and ART schedules.
