THE POSITION
The Bureau of Motor Vehicles is hiring a Clerical Assistant 2 to provide clerical and office support within the Road User Charge (RUC) Unit. This Unit is responsible for collecting fees from registered owners of Electric Vehicles (EV) and Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will be responsible for all clerical duties conducted in the RUC unit. Duties of this position will include updating vehicle lists with RUC payments, registration expiration dates, and various reminders for payments due. You will also p rocess RUC payments for records that fail to update through the high-speed remittance processing system.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
+ Graduation from high school;or
+ An equivalent combination of experience and training.

+ You must be able to perform essential job functions.
