About the role

As a SAP FICO Functional Architect you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing SAP solutions that optimize financial processes and enhance business operations. With a focus on SAP FICO modules you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Your expertise will drive efficiency and innovation in a hybrid work model contributing to the companys success in the medical devices and manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions to optimize financial processes and enhance business operations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO modules with other business systems

• Provide expert guidance on SAP Taxes on Sales and Purchase to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial transactions

• Oversee the integration of SAP FI-MM and FI-SD modules to streamline procurement and sales processes

• Drive the implementation of SAP Taxation solutions to support global tax compliance and reporting

• Manage SAP Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting to provide insights into organizational performance

• Implement SAP New GL functionalities to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities

• Coordinate SAP Internal Orders and Classic GL processes to ensure efficient tracking and management of financial data

• Facilitate SAP Credit Management and Profitability Analysis to optimize credit risk and profitability assessments

• Develop SAP Product Costing strategies to accurately capture and analyze production costs

• Ensure efficient SAP Automatic Payments and Accounts Receivable processes to improve cash flow management

• Oversee SAP Accounts Payable and Asset Management to maintain accurate financial records and asset tracking

• Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on SAP FICO data analysis to support business decision-making

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in SAP FICO modules including SAP Taxes on Sales Purchase and FI-MM/SD Integration

• Demonstrate proficiency in SAP Taxation Cost Center Accounting and Profit Center Accounting

• Have a strong understanding of SAP New GL Internal Orders and Classic GL functionalities

• Exhibit expertise in SAP Credit Management Profitability Analysis and Product Costing

• Show capability in managing SAP Automatic Payments Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

• Display knowledge in SAP Asset Management and FICO data analysis

• Experience in Finance & Accounting Medical Devices Manufacturing and Supply Chain is advantageous.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 to $132,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

• This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
