    School Behavioral Technician - El Monte and Surrounding Areas in Los Angeles, CA

     

    Pay: $20–$25 per hour (DOE) - Paid out weekly!

     

    We are seeking an experienced School Behavioral Technician to support students in El Monte, CA. This role is ideal for someone who has worked as a behavioral technician in any setting—school, clinic, home, or community—and is ready to bring their skills into an educational environment.

     

    About the Role

     

    As a School Behavioral Technician, you will work directly with students to support behavior goals, social-emotional development, and academic engagement. You’ll collaborate with teachers, administrators, and clinical supervisors to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality behavioral support throughout the school day.

    Responsibilities

    - Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support in classroom and school settings

     

    - Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA or clinical supervisor guidance

     

    - Support students with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation

     

    - Collect accurate data and maintain daily documentation

     

    - Collaborate with school staff and participate in ongoing training

     

    - Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong communication with the school team

    Qualifications

    - Experience as a Behavioral Technician in any setting (school, clinic, home, or community)

     

    - RBT certification preferred but not required

     

    - High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred)

     

    - Ability to support students physically and emotionally throughout the school day

     

    - Strong communication skills and a passion for helping children succeed
