    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The Manager/Executive Human Resources Strategic Business Partner (HRBP) is a leadership role responsible for advising executive teams on alignment of human resources strategy with business objectives across designated clinical and operational areas. Serving as a key member of the leadership team, the HRBP collaborates with executive stakeholders to drive organizational performance, workforce planning, leadership development, and data-driven decision-making to enhance both employee and patient outcomes.

     

    This is a hybrid role, primarily on-site, with the location depending on your assigned region with the Central Pennsylvania area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior healthcare executives, including hospital presidents, service line leaders, and other operational leaders to translate business strategy into human capital strategies that advance all missions of the health system.

    + Lead strategic HR initiatives that support talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, diversity &inclusion, and succession planning.

    + Collaborate with all HR partners and lead a team of HR professionals to deploy programs and practices that support system-wide objectives while addressing local needs.

    + Provide guidance on complex organizational design to improve efficiency, care delivery, and employee experience.

    + Manages complex projects in support of system-wide organizational initiatives and in-line with organizational values, goals and objectives.

    + Analyze workforce metrics and trends to inform business decisions and proactively address talent and workforce needs.

    + Lead efforts to enhance the employee experience and improve retention across clinical and non-clinical teams.

    + Facilitate strategies of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to improve employee engagement.

    + Support performance management processes, including executive coaching, team effectiveness, and leadership alignment.

    + Serve as an advocate for equity, inclusion, and high reliability practices across the organization.

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).

    + Partner with the employee relations team to provide counsel to senior leaders on high-risk or sensitive employee matters.

    + Leads a team of HR professionals inclusive of strategic HR business partners, organizational development consultants, and generalists, and inspires team members to integrate organizational core values into their daily practices and interactions.

    + Supervise, mentor, and develop staff.

    + Effectively partners with leaders at all levels of the organization to successfully implement and evolve programs.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

    + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field.

    + Seven (7) years related experience, with at least two (2) years providing strategic HR advisement to executive leaders in a complex healthcare environment.

    + Proven ability to drive HR strategy in alignment with organizational goals and operational priorities.

    + Experience with change management, organizational development, and workforce planning.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

    + Master’s degree

    + Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
