    The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business within DRS has locations in Dallas and Austin, TX, Melbourne, FL, and Cypress, CA. EOIS develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles and airborne platforms.     Job Summary

    Collaborate with and learn from experienced Employees in our Electro-Optical & Infrared Systems line of business. Our Summer Internship Program offers a full-time, paid opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working in a culture defined by friendliness and teamwork at DRS. What sets us apart?     Job Responsibilities

    + Career development and networking support from a host of corporate leaders, business stakeholders and a dedicated material program manager

    + Participate in meetings (Not limited to the following). IPT level meetings, Program Reviews, EAC/ETC Financial meetings, Material Shortage meetings

    + Assist in identifying and resolving material issues

    + Assist with a variety of projects as related to Material Program Management

    + Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas

    + Compile, review and analyze data

    + Use required software for functional area to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs and correspondence

    + Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

    Qualifications

    + Currently enrolled in a 4 years degree program or 2 years Masters program preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Financial Accounting or Operations Management

    + Enrolled as either a Junior or Senior with at least a 3.0 or higher GPA at the time of application

    + Must be able to support a 40 hours work week onsite

    + Excellent organization and time management skills

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.
