    Are you a current college student majoring in Human Resources? If so, Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is looking to hire a summer HR intern for their executive office building in Lake Forest, IL. This opportunity will provide some practical HR responsibilities and a glimpse into the variety of operations within our Corporate HR Department.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Your primary role will be to support the Executive Director of Corporate HR by assisting with a variety of assignments and projects.

    + You will also interact with other Corporate HR staff members in recruiting, learning and development, and compliance.

    Educational Requirements/Qualifications:

    + Must be a currently enrolled college student majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other applicable major and have completed their sophomore year.

    + A minimum grade point average of 3.0/ 4.0 is required and you must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.

    Abilities/Skills:

    + Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential.

    + Strong attention to detail and enjoy a systematic approach to problem solving.

    + Candidate must display maturity and a high level of professionalism.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is required.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    + Starting hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 depending on your academic year.

    + Paid Holidays.

    + Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
