Job Description Summary
As the Shared Sourcing Services (SSS) Operations Leader, you will be accountable for day-to-day operational support of Source-to-Pay applications, with the primary platform on Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.8 and associated applications (Perceptive, RightFax, AppWorx/PVCS, Tungsten and custom applications). You will manage vendor support teams to ensure availability, compliance, security, performance, and high-quality change delivery. You will ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations, oversee change quality for production migrations, maintain application vitality and security posture, and drive business continuity and instance performance. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment across stakeholders including Product Leaders, Product Managers, application leads, Middleware, Infrastructure, DBAs, and Auditors to support smooth business operations.
Responsible for operating in lock-step with product management teams to create a clear strategic direction for development needs and conveys that vision to the build and/or operations team. You will direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Product Owners and Developers.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
+ Manage and monitor BAU support activities for Shared Sourcing Services (Oracle EBS) and peripheral applications (Perceptive, RightFax, AppWorx, PVCS, custom).
+ Oversee vendor support teams, handling access provisioning, periodic access reviews, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
+ Conduct access reviews for all SSS users to ensure compliance and security.
+ Compliance and Security: Enforce application access controls and ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls, security policies, and external regulations (e.g., SOX, SOD audits).
+ Act as gate keeper for the change management, Review and approve change migrations to production environments, ensuring quality and minimizing risks.
+ Daily review monitoring dashboards with support teams to proactively identify and address issues.
+ Monitor the support Quality and SLA.
+ Act as the first point of contact for support escalations, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
+ Continuously monitor support efforts to identify opportunities for cost reduction and work with Product leader and owners for efficiency improvements in operations.
+ Keep the vitality of applications, own patch reviews and patching activities for SSS, RightFax, AppWorx, PVCS, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
+ Conduct root cause analyses for repetitive problems and work with help of product leader and the team to implement process improvements or system modifications to prevent future errors and enhance user efficiency.
+ Work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to prioritize operational needs and coordinate cross-application dependencies.
+ Implement Flight Deck and Lean Fundamentals in operations to drive continuous improvement.
+ Build Daily Management and monitor operational performance against SLAs and KPIs; take corrective actions as needed.
+ Conduct DR Activities for the applications, plan and manage the Releases
+ Own the instance refresh calendars for non-PROD, plan the refresh. Lead non-regression and Performance testing.
+ Monitor close calendar execution for AP/Finance, ensure the sufficient support is provided.
+ Demonstrate strategic, expert-level problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity with sound judgment and clear communication.
+ Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge and helps organization to gain the competitive edge.
+ Interacts with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
+ Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products.
+ Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.
+ Routinely collaborates with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions.
+ Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas.
+ Demonstrates expert persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.
+ Owns the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
+ Owns and manages the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
+ Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
+ Demonstrates strategic expert level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
+ Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.
+ Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
+ Partners with Development Leadership to ensure healthy development process.
+ Mentors junior team members.
+ Provide technical leadership to TPMs across organization. Expert in Agile Methodology: Coaches others.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of **5** years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of **10** years of professional experience
+ Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT Operations, preferably leading vendor-managed support teams.
+ Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Desired Characteristics:
+ Strong understanding of Supply Chain and/or Procurement business processes, especially Source-to-Pay/Procure-to-Pay.
+ Understanding of Oracle ERP/Oracle E-Business Suite and Procure-to-Pay processes.
+ Familiarity with software design principles, operational support practices, and problem-solving techniques, including breaking down problems, documenting statements, and estimating efforts.
Technical Expertise:
+ Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.
+ Collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions.
+ Lean practice experience including Kaizens, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and structured problem solving.
+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SOX

Note:
The base pay range for this position is $131,000 to $218,000 annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 12/31/2025.
