    Hiring Range: $22.74- $30.46

    The Closer II should have a good working knowledge of all areas within the Mortgage process with strong emphasis on Closing. The Closer II will keep an open line of communication with other department managers to ensure policies and procedures are accurately followed.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Expert understanding of FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, USDA and VA, NHHFA Housing, MASS Housing, RI Housing, Construction Loans / State Housing Programs, DPA expert, CRA expert.

    + Monitor volume and reassign files as needed.

    + Respond to Branch inquiries and accommodate rushes as needed.

    + Work with Post-Closing, Accounting and QC errors to recognize trends and provide feedback and additional training as needed.

    + Assist other departments questions as needed and bring them to VP for discussion.

    + Private Investor Shipping Including Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae; Perform all duties relating to post closing review and Shipping but not limited to:

    + Complete loan order using proper investor checklists and summary sheets.

    + Ensure all loans are scanned correctly- if needed

    + Track all loan shipping.

    + Submit Loans to Government for insurance.

    + Ensure compliance with frequently changing investor and agency guidelines.

    + Follow up on Outstanding Closing Disclosures

    + Create and revise workflows within department as needed.

    + Stay current with Investor guidelines and procedures and effectively communicate out to closing team as changes occur.

    + Maintain up-to-date procedures for all functions performed within department.

    + Prepare Closing Packages as needed per volume.

    + Ensure compliance with all TRID and other Federal and State related timeframes and requirements.

    + Maintain thorough understanding of required Closing Documents and Closing Packages for completeness and accuracy.

    + Complete research and make sound decisions for exceptions to HOME’s Closing Instructions

    + Must be flexible with schedule during peak volume/season.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Education and Experience

    + High School diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

    + 5 - 7 years Mortgage experience

    + 2 - 3 years Closing, Post-Closing experience

    Skills/Knowledge:

    + Communicates effectively with others and exhibits excellent Internal / External customer relations skills .

    + Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    + Ensure all policies are administered within ethical and legal standards to minimize litigation exposure.

    + Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information

    + Understands all aspects of job responsibilities.

    + Expert understanding with FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, USDA and VA, NHHFA Housing, MASS Housing, RI Housing, Construction Loans / State Housing Programs, DPA expert, CRA expert, a very strong experience of all government loans

Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee frequently observes details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). The employee may occasionally lift and/or move boxes or equipment up to 30 pounds for various needs.

    This position is a hybrid role. Persons holding this position are generally subject to inside environmental conditions having the lighting, temperature, while in an office, may be subject to noise level of an open floor-plan office environment (moderate, but occasionally loud at times). This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, phones, printers, etc.
