    Shift: Variable Day/PM shifts

     

    The Diet Clerk will assist patients in selecting meal choices by phone and bedside while following prescribed diet and providing excellent customer service. Modifies patient menus to fit preferences and diets, fulfills nourishments for patients, creates specific reports in CBORD and Epic, checks the patient tray line, fulfills floor stock orders, and communicates with nursing staff and dietitians to help assist with patients’ specific dietary needs.

    Education:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    Experience:

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + Excellent customer service skills required.

    + Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

    + Computer knowledge using a variety of computer programs including word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser
