    The Supply Chain/Materials Intern is responsible for working with our expert Materials Management team to ensure a timely supply of materials to our production teams to support our customer needs.

     

    This position reports to the Value Stream Materials Manager and is part of the Cell Culture Business–Located in Logan Utah and will be an on-site role.

    What you will do:

    + Leverage lean partners to drive continuous improvement for supply chain functions.

    + Ensure sustainment of process improvement activities including standard work, daily management, and other leading and lagging indicators.

    + Develop and engage in structured problem-solving processes to discover root causes of supply chain problems and implement and sustain countermeasures.

    + Work on projects with cross functional teams to deliver results, often requiring decision making through formal and informal problem solving to improve processes and performance

    Who you are:

    + Current student working on Supply Chain or Business Degree

    + Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook; Excellent analytical skills, verbal and written communication

    + Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities

    + Strong team-player, willing to support others in achieving goals

    + Basic Understanding of lean tools and theory

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

    + ERP/ASCP Planning

    + PowerBI

     

    The hourly range for this role is $25.00. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
