Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team in McLean, Virginia. This is a Contract position where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing communication and providing excellent front desk support. The ideal candidate will bring strong multitasking abilities and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls efficiently using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and courteous communication.

• Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing assistance and directing them to the appropriate departments.

• Manage the switchboard for phone systems ranging from 1 to 10 lines.

• Respond to inbound calls in a courteous manner, addressing inquiries and forwarding calls as necessary.

• Maintain general reception area cleanliness and organization.

• Coordinate with internal teams to support administrative tasks as needed.

• Assist with scheduling and appointment setting when required.

• Provide part-time reception coverage and ensure consistent availability during designated hours.

• Uphold excellent customer service standards in all interactions.

• Monitor and manage office supplies inventory related to front desk operations.

Requirements • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is required.

• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Friendly and detail-oriented attitude with a focus on customer service.

• Availability for part-time work with flexible scheduling.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with office software.

• High school diploma or equivalent education level.
