Pharmacist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team. This role involves working closely with a dynamic group in a supportive and friendly environment. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Fill, enter orders, and package medications accurately.
+ Verify the legality and pharmaceutical feasibility of dispensing drugs considering patient allergies and current medication incompatibilities.
+ Interpret prescription orders with precision.
+ Adhere to all Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
+ Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies as needed.
+ Communicate effectively with doctors and nurses.
+ Evaluate inventory levels and place orders when product levels are low.
+ Restock station supplies, including vials, cassettes, labels, and delivery tickets.
+ Oversee pharmacy technicians and provide feedback on their performance to their supervisor.
Essential Skills
+ Pharmacy expertise and experience in a healthcare setting.
+ PharmD degree.
+ State Pharmacist License without any restrictions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Pharmacy technician certification (Cpht) is advantageous.
Work Environment
The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 6 PM, with a four-day work week where you can choose your day off. There is an on-call responsibility every fourth weekend, although it is rare to be called in. The work environment is supportive, with the owner actively involved and available for discussions. The pharmacy is locally owned but benefits from the resources of a larger entity. Relocation assistance is available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Island, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $70.00/hr.
