Job Title: Engineering Technician
Job Description
Collaborate with engineers to ensure molds, fixtures, and tooling are properly designed and functional. Report issues for corrective action, follow production procedures, and ensure high-quality part delivery. Maintain quality control through inspections and accurate data tracking from Travelers to databases.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the correct design and functionality of molds, fixtures, and tooling.
+ Report and address issues for corrective action to maintain production standards.
+ Follow established production procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality parts.
+ Conduct thorough inspections to maintain quality control.
+ Accurately track data from Travelers to databases.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in fabrication, prototype development, and working with aluminum and epoxy.
+ Proven ability to support engineers in both R&D and production environments.
+ Experience in the fabrication of prototypes and other forms.
+ Proficiency in working with fixtures, building prototypes, and handling various materials and substrates.
+ Experience with CNC, thin films, machines, ceramics, and thermal processes.
+ Mechanical engineering experience.
+ Ability to gain Security Clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in thermal testing, mechanical engineering, ceramic, polyurethane, and acrylic.
+ A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
