Job Title: Survey Crew ChiefJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Survey Crew Chief to conduct Boundary, Topographic, Alta Surveys, and Construction layouts. The ideal candidate will oversee and operate a one-person crew, utilizing various advanced surveying instruments and software.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct Boundary, Topographic, and Alta surveys, as well as Construction layouts.

+ Oversee and manage a one-person survey crew.

+ Operate surveying equipment including theodolites, total stations, and Trimble robotic instruments.

+ Download and upload survey data to the appropriate files in the computer network or field data collector.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of land surveying experience.

+ Experience in running a one-man crew.

+ Proficiency in operating surveying instruments such as theodolites, total stations, and Trimble robotic instruments.

+ Knowledge of GPS equipment is preferred.

+ Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong knowledge of land surveying, including Boundary, Topographic, and Alta surveys.

+ Experience with boundary survey software.

+ Familiarity with Topcon and Trimble GPS systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downers Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
